Description
This open pollinated wildflower does best in dry meadows or planted on slopes. It grows like grass, but blooms the second spring/summer after planting. It is used for attracting bees, butterflies, and insects and making dye. The seeds are also edible and the plant tolerates drought conditions! Perennial.

Soil & Water: Requires full sun and light water, preferring loose, sandy soil.
Planting & Growing: In the spring, loosen the top two inches of soil and mix seed with 10 parts vermiculite. Broadcast this mix over the area to planted. Compress soil and cover lightly with compost or straw.
