Today, three weeks since the fire that destroyed our shop building and all of our seed inventory, we are re-opening our store with lots of seeds and other items available for purchase again!
We’ve still got a long way to go – the recovery after the fire and rebuilding of the shop is an ongoing process that will take months, if not years – but we’re so thankful to be starting up again.
It’s only because of people that this is happening.
People who supported us financially – sometimes without even meeting us.
People who supported us physically – loaning us tools, giving us their time, energy, and expertise when we needed it most.
People who gave us what we needed in the moment – in the form of meals, a shoulder to cry on, and more.
We’ve seen the importance of community more than we ever imagined. We always knew it was important and powerful, but we’re humbled to see our community in action now, and it makes us all the more passionate about supporting it in the future.
