Shop Fire Recovery

In this update I’d like to review the past year, both the challenges we faced and the tremendous blessings given to us by God.

Spring is here and it’s been busy here. We celebrated a birthday, got a new car, finished some small projects on the shop and new office, and are getting ready for gardening season!

It is important for us to catalog all that happens each week so we, extended family, friends, our children and future grandchildren can look back and see how God uses trials for His glory.

We have lights! Just a few days ago, we were able to hook up the lights and turn them on for the first time in the new shed. Seed for Generations is closer to having a new home (and getting out of my house)!

It’s been a busy, eventful week at Seeds for Generations! Here’s what we’ve been up to…and why we still need your prayers and support during our busiest season of the year.

Today, three weeks since the fire that destroyed our shop building and all of our seed inventory, we are re-opening our store with lots of seeds and other items available for purchase again!

This week we have made some giant steps forward towards getting a new office space set up and taking and shipping orders for customers. This would not have been possible to do with peace of mind without your many prayers, words of encouragement and donations.

We have committed to, Lord willing, journaling each Sunday an update about the fire recovery process, getting Seeds For Generations up and running again, progress on our lives, and the rebuilding of our shop building. Our desires for this is because we want those who have supported us to know that we do not take for granted the generosity of your giving and want you to see God at work in the area of “restoring what the locusts have eaten.”
