Description
This native of California produces colorful colors on maroon stems. Great for cut flowers (though you will want to prune for this use). Attracts butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies and resists deer.

Soil & Water: This variety requires moderate water, but it can be planted in different types of soil.
Planting & Growing: Loosen the top two inches of soil and mix seed with 10 parts vermiculite. Broadcast this mix over the area to be planted, either in fall or spring. Compress soil and cover lightly with compost or straw.
