Description

This fast-growing variety produces juicy, tender stems and leaves. Perfect for winter gardening, it is used most commonly in stir fries. (It does bolt in summer heat or if temp drops below 50 degrees for a week.)

Pak Choi – Baby (Shanghai Bok Choy) – Brassica rapa var. chinensis

Soil & Water: Plant in rich, fertile soil (6.0 to 7.5 pH is best). It needs regular, even moisture and lots of organic matter.

Planting & Growing: Start indoors 2-3 weeks before last frost or direct seed at the end of summer for fall plantings. Succession planting works well for bok choy too.

Harvesting & Storage: Harvest individual leaves or the whole head. You can dry for winter storage too!
