Soil & Water: Tolerates both full sun to partial shade, but does prefer consistently moist, well-draining soil. Afternoon shade can be helpful in hot summer climates.
Planting & Growing: After danger of frost has passed, loosen the top two inches of soil and mix seed with 10 parts vermiculite. Broadcast this mix over the area to be planted. Compress soil and cover lightly with compost or straw. May also start indoors 6-8 weeks before spring frost and then transplant.
