Description

This variety produces 16-20″ long, slender, dark green bean pods with black seeds. Tastes sweet and flavorful. Great for making Asian stir-fries and steaming!

Soil and Water: Legumes like well-drained soil rich in organic matter and a moderate amount of nutrients. Water lightly at planting, medium at flowering, and heavily throughout harvest time. Avoid overhead watering which can promote disease.

Planting and Growing: Start indoors in short-season climates, or seed directly once soils have reached at least 65F, preferably after the last frost. This variety prefers warm days and nights.

Harvesting and Storage: Pick regularly to extend harvest period. When you have enough beans harvested you can let the remaining beans mature and dry them on the vine to use as shell beans. Fresh green beans freeze well.
